Week 27 (25 Jan - 29 Jan 2010)

Ridge tiles on main roof now all finished and as I thought last week the sunroom has now been sealed and tiling finished on it also.

All downstair ceilings have now been plaster boarded and they have even managed to plaster board the master bedroom and guest bedroom.

The cavity wall insulation arrived Saturday morning, but owing to the sub zero temperature  this morning the compressed air line is not operating as it should and the installer will have to come back on Sunday morning to finish the job! Having spoken with him it normally takes about 2 1/2 hours to complete on a house our size, but he reckons owing to the temperature it will take close to 8 hours to complete.

The gaps above the internal door frames have been filled in readiness for the plasterers, whom I assume are close to arriving as we have a large pile of sand and cement now sitting outside.
